Lviv Polytechnic hosted a training course for representatives of local authorities and public administration within the Jean Monnet project

A training course for representatives of local authorities and public administration “European Experience in Technology Transfer for Local Government” was held at the Lviv Polytechnic National University from February 2 to 10, 2021. The course took place within the Jean Monnet project 611679-EPP-1-2019-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE "European Experience in Technology Transfer for Ukrainian Universities" / EXTECH.

The course discussed a wide range of issues on innovation transfer, namely: development of successful startups, financing of university startups in European countries and Ukraine, formation of regional business incubators, involvement of stakeholders in the transfer of university startups, and formation of crowdfunding platforms.

Thecourse was implemented by the authors of the EXTECH project, namely: the project leader, Professor of the Department of MIB Igor Oleksiv, Head of the Department of AFM Nazar Podolchak, and Senior Lecturer of the Department of AFM Oleh Duma. Foreign experts on technology transfer were also involved: associate professor of Goldsmith University of London and Bertrand Tortellier, project engineer at Alpine Social Innovation Strategy.

More than twenty participants took part in the course. Certificates were issued for the results of participation in the course.
